Using Operator for Phone-Banking

Operator is a great tool for volunteers to do voter contact or GOTV in place of or in addition to door knocking efforts.

This guide explains how to call voters using Operator in Minsights.

If you are logging in as a volunteer to make phone calls, navigate to the Toolkit > Phonebank

If there are multiple phone banks running be sure to confirm which one you should use.

Once you’ve selected the correct phone bank follow the steps below to make your first call:

The phone banking tool allows you to use your computer to dial each voter’s number by pressing Start Call.

Once you press start, the form will appear and allow the user to read the script and record responses on the Form.

Please record the outcome of the call before moving on to the next voter.
